(via Red River Rockhouse) For any who frequent the Gorge (only tools call it ‘The Red, fyi, re: The Manimal) there is a new food option, the Red River Rock house. Just down 11 from Miggies/Natural bridge/Torrent, and crucially in Woolf Co., this new place just opened up. I kid you not, I had one of the three best burgers I have ever had when I visited last night. Really fun laid back vibe, really great food, PBR and Flying Dog on tap, great prices, and really good people. Buckle up and kick the recession in the teeth people, support local business. Combined with the fact that the reconstruction of Red River Outdoors began this weekend, this new place might just signal that the Gorge is ready to grow up. Don’t get me wrong, I love Miggies, and Miguel, but its nice to have another option and to spread the crowd. Oh yah, Woolf county aint dry either…
