So the garage is this cool Cville venue that was literally run over by a truck. It needs help. This video is funny. Even if you don’t give money. And I did my part by rhyming. That’s all I got.

Johnny Cash ‘Southern Accents’
One of my all time Cash favorites. Along with ‘Rusty Cage’ ‘Father and Son’ ‘Mercy Seat’ and ‘As Long as the Grass Shall Grow’
The good times roll again in Oxford next week. Watch out kidz. Medieval Lit grad students on the loose. Things are about to get real. In a Chaucerian sense. From a great night at The Bear back in the good old, pre-breaking of the Lexington Fellowship/we all still lived in Oxford and had money/time to kick back and relax. Those were good days.
Been loving Washed Out the last few days. Especially as I watch it snow out my window and crank my fire to 900 degrees F.
This had better be the first song tonight at the O2 Academy in Oxford.
Dancing in the Dark (by zach.stone)
Outside The Bear, Oxford. Those were the days, when we were all still young and in Oxford. When really there was nothing more to do after a day in the Bod then hang out at The Bear, or on the street in front of it.
(PS I know I need to photoshop the bit of arm out of the lower right corner to make the balance perfect, I am just lazy and can’t be asked)
One of my favorites off the most recent album I can’t stop listening to. Don’t really care if this makes me a hipster or jumping on the bandwagon. Don’t care if Pitchfork only gave it a 7.7 (where do the decimals come from anyways? Seriously?). Described as a ‘small effort’ and very ‘2006.’ Pitchfork is hilarious. Oh well, its a fun album, and nice to listen to something that can see past atonality and autotune. Dissonance has its place, but harmony and melody can be nice as well. As far as its size, brevity is the soul of wit. At least this album leaves you wanting more and not wishing it.would.just.end. Note my subtle deployment of the uber hip puncti (plural for punctus) in lieu of more normative modes of punctuation. Perhaps, though, in deference to The Rip Tide’s passe sensibilities ISHOULDJUSTUSESCRIPTOCONTINUOANDALLCAPSLIKETHEROMANS.
Timeout (by zach.stone)
On of my favorites ever. Timeout on a friday night @ The Bear, Oxford. Those times are done now. Forever. And all our bank accounts/livers are better for it.
Un buen día en Montserrat! La temperatura fue perfecto y la roca fue cool! El estilo allí es más dura, pero me gusta mucho!
SOLO MISSION: BEAR AND BACK
Note to self: 100+ mile rides are highly more enjoyable in good company. Longest solo ride to date. Won’t do that...
Instagram Roundup, It’s been a lot of cycling.
BUMMER.
If a person is stuck in the stacks fantasizing about librarians, I’m assuming it’s because they can’t find their book and need help real...
By request.
It takes an ocean not to break.
